Choosing the Bridal Jewelry.

Exquisite Bridal Jewelry availble at Emerging Faces Studio.

Weddings are the most grandiose and memorable occasion especially for the bride.

As central as the wedding dress is, brides also know their look is never complete without the right accessories. Arguably the most important accessory, aside from the groom, is the jewelry the bride and her bridesmaids will be wearing on the big day.

How the bride selects the accessories and jewelry pieces for herself and her bridesmaid can be one of the most important and very personal decisions for her special day. Incorporating family heirlooms, favorite keepsakes and contemporary styles can be complicated but always remember the focus is on the bride's face and neckline so keep your jewelry selections to just one or two special items.

At Emerging Faces, our impeccable services of bringing out beauty from within are our guiding testaments that inspire us to further provide our brides with a variety of jewelry to perfect the bride’s appearance for the special day.

Bridal jewelry should essentially be selected considering the latest trends, designs and colors of the season. The jewelry should be unique and exclusive thereby enabling the bride to stand out on the most important day of her life.

Below are tips for the brides in choosing the suitable jewelry for their big day.

* Match jewelry with your gown. No two brides are ever the same, but there are similarities between wedding gowns and certain jewelry that goes well with each type of gown. For example, the type of necklace a bride chooses will depend on the neckline of her gown.

When the bride is interested in matching a piece of jewelry with her wedding dress, we believe the lines and flow of the dress are the defining accents to consider. If the bride has chosen a vintage, lacy gown, then something antique, or beaded and chandelier style is beautiful. For a cleaner, modern and linear style dress, a simple charm or statement piece is ideal to enhance the wedding gown or dress without taking away from the complete ensemble

* Consider a splash of color. Today's brides aren't solely hoping to look elegant and demure. They're also hoping to attract attention. And nothing helps to do just that more than some colorful jewelry to complement your white wedding gown. Colored gems and even yellow diamonds are a growing trend among brides.

* Go green. Perhaps no trend is more popular or hot button than the go green movement. As a result, many brides are showcasing their environmental side and embracing a growing trend among bridal jewelry, namely the choice of nature-inspired jewelry that includes themes such as flowers, butterflies, leaves, and rosettes.

Everything about Emerging Faces jewelry collections evoke a mood and feeling of nature and the growing interest in the collections of more floral inspired pieces is a true testament to the bride's desire to incorporate these classic themes into their memorable day.

Choosing Flowers For Bridal Bouquet.

Flower Choices: What You Need To Know

I've had brides come in for makeup consultations and often complain about not knowing the flowers to choose for their bridal bouquet. Though I'm not a florist but I have compiled a list of flowers and their meanings to guide our prospective brides.
Different flowers and their various colors do have different meanings. It's up to the bride to decide on the bouquet. Most of the meanings are positive, so choose flowers that you prefer for their beauty, not necessarily for their meaning. Below, is a list of the meaning of different flowers:

Appreciate Yourself.

Appreciate yourselfPop Quiz: When was the last time you acknowledged and appreciated yourself?

That’s right: YOU. Not your spouse, not your children, or not your boss, co-workers or friends. Just YOU!

Seriously, think about it.

And if it’s been so long since you last pat yourself on the back, then I want you to take the time right now to acknowledge and appreciate yourself for everything you’ve accomplished today, throughout the year, and in life. Ask yourself: How many times have you succeeded in the past month? The past year? The past 10 years? Are you able to recall your successes as easily as your failures and missteps?

Channel To Real Beauty

Good skinI believe it's important for us to know the steps to real beauty, we shouldn't just rely on makeup to cover all our flaws. We should be able to achieve a glow from inside out in this new year, below are points directly related to healthy skin, hair and nails.

*Eat diets rich in fresh fruits and vegetables.
*Take a high quality multiple vitamin everyday.
*Exercise.
*Drink at least eight glasses of water everyday.
*Eat fat in moderation.
*Abstain from alcohol and don't drink too much coffee.
*Get a good "beauty sleep" everyday.
*Use sun protection everyday.
*Don't smoke.
*Relax, laugh and enjoy life.

Applying Blush

Applying BlushIt is best to apply blush sparingly because the blush warms with the heat of the body to a more intense hue.

* A good blush brush is needed for blush application to create a natural look. I would not recommend using brushes that come in the compact as they are usually too small to create a natural look.

* Knowing where the apple of your cheeks appear gives a beautiful look; simply smile into the mirror to see the apples.

* Dip blush brush into blush powder and tap off the excess applying over the apple of the cheek, if you have  applied to much powder, dab bit of translucent powder to tone it down.
